Philipe Bruce and The Bloc

The Bloc is a Nebraska nonprofit organization with a mission to positively impact the lives of community members through education, charity and philanthropy, and community building. In 2020, through the COVID-19 pandemic, their programs provided over one million meals including over 15,000 warm meals locally to seniors in need, over 12,000 masks, and over 1,500 hours of Professional Mental Health Care to the local community members.

In the next few months, they aim to receive 100 nominations for their inaugural 50 Over 50 NE Awards, to honor Nebraska's top achievers 50 years old and over in five categories--Nonprofit, Innovation, Business, Community, and Healthcare.
