At Leadership Lincoln, our dedicated staff are the backbone of our mission to develop strong leaders for a stronger Lincoln. With a shared commitment to civic engagement, leadership development, and community impact, our team works hand-in-hand with program participants, alumni, and community partners to create transformative experiences. Guided by expertise, passion, and a deep understanding of Lincoln’s needs, our staff ensure that every Leadership Lincoln program empowers emerging and established leaders to make meaningful contributions to our community.
Diane Steinke
Diane Steinke, Office Administrator, first became familiar with Leadership Lincoln through her daughters, who both participated in the Youth cohort as high school students. Diane brings a background in organizational processes and technology support from her previous careers, as well as experience in communications and an English degree from UNL.
When she's not working, Diane spends time with her daughters Maren (YLL 26) and Jenna (YLL 28), her husband Nick (Executives 38), and her cats Ari Shapiro and Steve Inskeep. Originally from Iowa, she loves getting to know her adopted home of Lincoln and Nebraska through hiking, biking, camping, and photography - plus attending as many concerts as she can.
