Participant Spotlight: Valerie Ly
For Valerie Ly, Youth Leadership Lincoln was the perfect opportunity to get out of her comfort zone as an introvert.
“Now, I feel like I can connect with anyone in a room,” the North Star sophomore said.
Through Youth Leadership Lincoln, Valerie has learned how to talk with others and conduct herself professionally.
Valerie’s favorite experiences in YLL—other than the lunches—have been “working with others and connecting with the community.”
“[Leadership Lincoln] is so diverse, so unique, and such a great community where you can really express yourself and develop your leadership,” Valerie said.
